Netflix is taking over. The new Nintendo 3DS will stream movies from Netflix. The Nintendo 3DS comes out March 27th in the United States. The Nintendo 3DS will have Netflix video streaming and gain access to over 10000 AT&T wireless hot spots across the United States. You can also get Netflix through your Xbox 360, Play station, Wii, and if you have a wireless TV. Nintendo has come together with Netflix to provide Netflix members the ability to stream movies and TV shows directly to their 3DS. Members will require an unlimited plan which starts at $7.99 a month and a broadband wireless internet connection. This technology will also allow you to start a movie on your Wii and continue watching it at a different location using your Nintendo 3DS. I might end up getting one of these for myself.

I saw an article on the Nintendo 3DS just yesterday. Netflix is really taking advantage of any new technology. The movie rental business is ever changing and if a company wants to stay viable it must adapt with the changes. Just look at how large Blockbuster once was, but it failed to adapt and now is a fraction of its previous size.

Let’s just say you like to watch The Office or Glee, well all you have to do is sign up for Netflix and wait for the season to come out and you can get the shows or movies in the mail and send them back when you’re done and then they’ll send you the next disk. You can also get Netflix to stream right to your TV wirelessly but that depends on what kind of TV you have. You can also do that if you have a play station or Xbox 360. Netflix is about $9 or $10 a month. You can also sign up for hulu. It has just about everything that is on TV right now. So let’s just say you missed the new episode of The Office last nite, well just go to www.hulu.com and you can watch it. You can also pay for hulu and stream it to your TV has well. It’s about $8 a month.
I use the netflix app on my iphone and we have recently purchased the apple tv to stream netflix from it. We have found that we can use our iphone like a remote through the apple tv as well. This technology is just booming.
